The built bones of a place
Hard landscaping sets the levels, holds the ground and decides how people move through a site. It is also the part that has to last forty years in the weather, so it has to be built to the drawings and to the standards the first time.
Materials that belong where they are
On sandstone country that usually means sandstone. Elsewhere it might be gabions filled with site-won rock, recycled brick or a precast system. We will price the specified material and, where it helps the budget or the program, tell you what we would use instead and why.
Common questions
What types of retaining walls do you build?
We build sandstone, segmental block, gabion and concrete sleeper walls for public spaces, to the engineer’s design where the wall height or loading requires one.
Do you install park furniture and shelters?
Yes. We install shelters, seating, bins, bike racks and other furniture supplied by the council or specified in the design, including footings and the surrounding paving.
Have a site, a scope or a closing date?
